Antenatal yoga and pilates are fantastic tools to keep your body and mind strong and flexible during pregnancy, and help support you during this transformation. During pregnancy is one of the best times to do these exercises as the body is naturally more flexible, and you and your baby will feel the benefits from the movements, stretching and breathing. Jane has a wealth of experience and guides you through a variety of exercises with modifications for each stage.
The class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy, no experience required 🙂 Classes are adapted to the specific needs of the individual so everyone can practise with confidence, ease and comfort. Modifications are offered according to stages of pregnancy, flexibility and strength.
The exercises and stretches help you to stay strong, fit and healthy throughout your pregnancy. They will also help to alleviate discomfort and pain, and will make you feel more relaxed generally. The breathing techniques and birthing/ labour positions can really help to prepare you for an easier and possibly a quicker labour and childbirth.
Jane allows a few minutes at the beginning and at the end for people to chat and connect, giving you support and the opportunity to make friends throughout your pregnancy and beyond!
